This week's free picture
Around the back of the temple of Seti I at Abydos is the tomb of Osiris. We have to remember that originally this was roofed and complete darkness filled the tunnels and the tomb, so there would have been no reeds, only the tomb standing in the pool intended to represent the primaeval mound and the waters that surrounded it.
